Chitin, a biodegradable natural product is polysaccharide. It is a component of the crustacean shells and fungi. Our team includes scientists who have spent a lifetime in polysaccharide chemistry and its applications. We operate a self imposed current Good Manufacturing Practices facilities, with state-of the art laboratories, which gives us a leading position to closely monitor the consistancy of the products we manufacture.
We have the technical expertise to manufacture proprietary chitin derivatives per our client specifications. Our products have been integrated by our clients in leading brand nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, personal health care products and various industrial applications.
Chitin extraction from crustacean shells yields as by-products marine protein flavorings and natural pigment rich in astaxanthin which is a strong antioxidant.
